YGLN granted Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council

The Young Global Leaders Network has been granted Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, a recognition awarded in 2025 that places youth voices from our network inside key UN forums.

The status allows YGLN to contribute to ECOSOC processes, nominate delegates to selected UN sessions and bring the priorities of young Africans directly to international decision makers. Fellow Members can apply for delegation opportunities through the member portal.
